Helena, who are you, what do you do and why did you get involved in ebbf activities?
I am a happy person! I have the great opportunity to do a job that I love and that brings me great satisfaction. I support international organisations, multinationals and NGOs, both in public and private sectors, to be actively involved and aware about labor law and international law. I am an expert in international labor standards and the labor dimension of corporate social responsibility with 12 years experience. My company’s name is improvingworklife which basically explains everything about my job and my main goal: I do consulting and training in order to improve work conditions all over the world.
I had the chance to meet Daniel, EBBF member, in a Master in Sustainability. One day he was telling me about the organization and the event [main conference]. I am a very curious person, I like to build new relationships, and I am very interested in learning more about how to apply values to my job, so I decided to come. The conference was brilliant! I met a number of interesting people and I participated as a facilitator for the meaningful conversations following the keynote, and for one of the workshops. I am happy to be here, this is a great environment to learn and create new friendships.
