The phrase "capacity building" is common in education circles. But Rebecca flips it on its head. "What are we building?" she asks. "Children already have capacity. Our job is not to build, but to allow. To create the conditions for their natural growth."
Dr. Rebecca Teclemariam is a biologist by training and an educator by vocation, she has spent over three decades teaching - from university halls in Strasbourg to classrooms filled with curious, challenging adolescents.
