Welcome to this break from the rush of our lives and of the pressures that surround us.
You come from all corners of the world and from all sectors, bringing with you not only your experiences and hopes, but also the silent burdens of a world in deep disorder. This is not a normal moment, and this is not a normal encounter. We are at a point in human history where the structures of our civilization, political, economic and social, are described as "increasingly volatile and out of control". We meet here not so much to ask "What can we fix?", but rather: what should we become? How should we reorient ourselves to serve humanity, not abstractly, but concretely, in our work, in our relationships, in our choices? What does it mean to live a coherent life in incoherent times? These questions are not meant to paralyze us, but to wake us up. The word reorientation is rich in meaning. It implies not only a change of direction, but a return to the first principles, a spiritual realigement. In its root, it means "to look towards the East", towards the direction of the rising sun, the birthplace of light.
To reorient is to choose, again and again, to face the light.
This meeting is an invitation to this reorientation. A REORIENTATION TOWARDS and CREATING and SHARING ... HOPE our goal is to create a space, a refuge, where the meaning of the service can emerge through dialogue, reflection and shared experience.
Where each of us, in our own way, can define and take the next step towards a life aligned with a purpose. This meeting is not a conference of action or pretension.
