24 sept, ebbf meaningful morning series - humanity, tech & sustainable futures.

I am delighted to share that our Meaningful Mornings 2026-2027 season will begin next Thursday 24 September at 11am CET online. We are happy to share this year's theme on "Humanity, Technology, & Sustainable Futures: How?, What?, When?, & Why? ". There are many timely topics, questions, and research to explore in this coming season and look forward to delving into this with contributions from many.


Gilberto Morishaw and I, with the support of Oscar Mendez Rosa, have been holding this virtual conversational, thinking, and learning space along with many amazing guest presenters and participants. We are very thankful to work with ebbf - ethical business building the future and our great collaborators over the years, and we're excited to start this year off. Starting next Thursday, we will have 8 sessions this season from September 2026 to April 2027.



The 1-hr format begins with a short presentation/vignette on the theme, followed by some questions, quotes, links, and media to consider, and then transitions into a facilitated exploration of the topic. We will continue bringing in diverse expertise, perspectives, Faiths, beliefs, and cultures in our conversations, and we welcome questions to explore and guests who wish to hold a space with a question. Everyone is welcome in the respectful, curious, and kind space and can simply listen, propose a question, speak, or stay silent if they wish.



Building on learning from the previous 8 years of meaningful mornings while also treading new paths with this new format, with purpose, structure, and space for creative collaboration.



As always, we are keen to hear from those interested in being a guest presenter to share a question they are curious about, research they have done on the topic (formal or informal), or experiences from practice engaging with a topic of interest. We are also experimenting with short-form multimedia to share the questions and some insights from the conversation, so please look out for those in the coming months.
