THE NETHERLANDS – ebbf member Arash Aazami is the CEO and founder of BAS Energy. The company aims at benefiting all stakeholders by helping energy consumers, SME’s, industrials and governments to gain ownership of their energy household, thus turning energy cost into value creation.
He will be giving the keynote at tonight’s energy debate in Utrecht on the subject ‘our living city’ organised by The Young Energy Specialists and Development Co-operation (YES-DC) . YES-DC is an association of students and young professionals interested in the field of energy and international co-operation and will be organising a series of debates in which different energy-related sectors are considered and discussed. At this first debate they will be using the energietransitiemodel (an independent, comprehensive and fact-based energy model that is used by governments, corporations, NGOs and educators in various countries) to look at the energy use of big cities and seek for potential solutions that helps to create cleaner, healthier and less energy consuming cities.
