The operational team

As you can see from the image above, ebbf enjoys a totally flat organizational structure where the elected Board and the nominated Advisory Council members provide guidance to the Secretariat team (see list below) running day to day operations.
The Secretariat also coordinates the work of seven Task Teams (in green in the image) offering specialized services in each of their relevant areas of action.
The Secretariat also coordinates a team of over 30 national representatives (in blue in the image) are nominated and take responsibility for liaising with local members in the most active countries of the over 60 nations where ebbf members are present.

daniel truran - director general
(Madrid - Spain)

Director General of the ebbf and passionate advocate of innovation and ethics in business. Daniel Truran is passionate about connecting individuals to their integrity, creativity and ethics - inspiring them into action by linking them to other like-minded doers.
He demonstrates, through innovative enterprises, how ethical behaviour in business is directly linked to success. Daniel promotes the movement towards a world that will act, behave and be organised as one country – where the creativity of its diverse citizens will enhance the well-being and prosperity of humankind.
Following a career as
Logistics and Marketing Director at Exel plc. working in London, Sydney,
Johannesburg and Milan, he was a board member of Spirit in Business, Vice President of Humanica Social Ventures, a Director of Via3 and Board of Trustees member of the Association for Spirit at Work.
He is currently Visiting Professor and Tutor on Social Entrepreneurship at Instituto Empresa Business School, and at the EOI Business school, Professor of CSR and Sustainability at the European School of Economics, judge at the Stanford BASES Social Entrepreneurship award and a founding member of the Hub Madrid.
victor forghani - members services

(Lisbon - Portugal)
Responsible for ebbf members services also covering the entire membership process.
Victor Forghani's vision on the responsibility of designers and manufacturers to create products that respect the environment and natural resources, led him to qualify as an Industrial Designer at the School of Arts and Design EINA in Barcelona. This degree allowed him to work with renowned designer Miguel Mila next to whom he designed different products that have been awarded for its energy saving and presented at institutions such as the Triennale di Milano.
His activities within the Baha'i community, nongovernmental organizations - such as UNESCO or Red Cross - and international events - as the World Religions Parliament and the World Youth Congress -, increased considerably when he was elected Secretary General of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Spain in 2008. This election meant moving to the headquarters in Madrid, from where he coordinated and worked towards the development and growth of the Baha'i community until May 2011.
Today, Victor lives in Lisbon with his wife where he combines his duties within the operational ebbf team with the service at the National Board of the Institute of Human Resources in Portugal
kathleen holmlund - social media services
(Belfast - Northern Ireland)
Kathleen’s media and communications experience spans both the
corporate and non-profit sectors. She has worked in Ireland, Israel,
Italy, the U.K., and the U.S. After five years of media relations work
in Washington, D.C., Kathleen is now based in Belfast, Northern Ireland,
and oversees News Strategies™ operations in Europe.
Over the last three years, her primary focus has been on developing
and expanding online media strategies for new and established brands
through dynamic news sites and social networks. She specializes in
developing and integrating online communications plans with social media
platforms such as blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube.
Kathleen is a co-founder and regular contributor of Zomppa.com, an international online food magazine established in April 2009, and is on the Board of Advisors of Zomppa Bus, a 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization founded in October 2009. She is also the media officer for ebbf (European Baha’i Business Forum), and a member of its communications tribe.

jorge sanchez - ebbf job platform special projects
(Madrid / Munich)
Over 5 years of working experience in the North American automotive industry (Diversified Chemical Technologies, Inc.), with varied responsibilities from business analyst to logistics coordinator to Financial Controller at Mexican subsidiary of US automotive supplier (Detroit, Michigan/ 2003-2009).
Also, concurrently managed and developed new environmental business venture in Costa Rica within the area of innovative water treatment solutions to address rural waste water challenges in developing countries (cooperation agreement with Costa Rican Environment Ministry as well as international network of scientists). (San Jose, Costa Rica / 2006-2008)
Participated in consulting project at Thunderbird School of Global Management (as part of Business Intelligence course) for US aerospace company related to best recruiting practices and optimizing staffing metrics to attract new engineering graduates as well as retaining experienced staff members. (Phoenix, AZ / 2006)
Volunteer work in Cartagena, Spain --- serving as tutor of training programs aimed at building capacity for service at the individual and community level (i.e. Institute Process). Also served as animator of junior youth groups, helped in renovation efforts of baha'i center and offered conversationl English courses at municipal youth center based on the theme of world citizenship. (2010)

eleonora ferrero - ebbf's liaison with AIESEC
(Milan)
Eleonora was an AIESEC member from 2005 to 2009, she then covered roles at Local and National level as coach and talent developer. She first came into contact with ebbf in Italy thanks to a joint event.
Passionate about social business development, training and coaching, she works as business coach in a start up enterprise.
This role allows her to have a strong impact on companies in their every day operations, supporting people to reach new and more responsible goals.
Since 2008 Eleonora runs a "leadership development" project in an Italian high school, and maintains active roles assisting AIESEC for their training programs.
She believes that education is key for the development of new generations.
She invests every year at least 1 month in training, and she involves in these trainings as many students as she can, creating grants paid by the companies where she holds her coaching sessions.
