THE ONLINE EXPERIENCE
It will not be quite the same as being there but we have set up a blog with the videos of the talks and the possibility to interact with participants and other interested individuals. You can follow the e-conference clicking on this link.
Click here to download the final list of confirmed participants.
If you are bringing your computer to the conference and wish to save the environmental cost of printing, click here to download the speaker's bios and the conference program.
Please let us know now if you decide for that option so that we will not print your copy of the program and of the speakers' bios.
Sylvia Karlsson has just sent in this very interesting and very relevant document titled: "Ecosystems and Human Well-being - Opportunities and Challenges for Business and Industry" produced by the Millenium Ecosystem Assessment. We share it with you - just click on the title to download it and view it (4.3 Mb).
Click here to Submit Your Project that is in some way aligned to EBBF's core values.
You will have the opportunity to share it with all conference participants and with EBBF/IEF members.
You can state what you need to help it to progress to its next phase and what it offers to other EBBF/IEF members.
Click here to view the projects that others have already sent for upload.
You may want to seek ways to share transport from your airport of arrival or from another city to the Depoort Conference Centre.
If you wish to share transport costs and reduce the environmental impact of your footprint, click here to find an interactive blog platform to post your transport needs or offers.
If you have not done so already, remember to also book your accommodation:
Most participants prefer the on site shared accommodation offered by the Depoort Conference Centre. The few rooms there fill quickly so we suggest you book your place soonest at Depoort's online accommodation booking site.
We highlight below alternative hotels in the vicinity that do offer single room accommodation you may want to choose:
Golden Tulip Val Monte - (Berg en Dal -> gorgeous nature: from one point at the hotel terrace you have an overview of 6 times the border between the Netherlands and Germany.... because the border between the two countries has a very organic shape, like a 'wave')
Fletcher Hotel Restaurant Erica (Berg en Dal -> lovely nature)
Hotel De Wolfsberg (at a walking distance from the De Poort, with a nice view on nature surroundings)
Best Western Hotel Belvoir (in the centre of Nijmegen)
Holthurnse Hof (Berg en Dal -> beautiful nature)
Hotel Sionshof (Nijmegen -> at the road from Nijmegen to Groesbeek, near forrest and a nice museum)
Hotel Courage (Nijmegen) -> in the centre of Nijmegen
You can find contacts details of these and other hotels in the area by clicking on this link.
