Warm welcome to new members


This month we have the pleasure of welcoming new members from: Belgium, Bulgaria, France, UK, USA and Switzerland/Bielorussia.

 

Parizad Olver - New York, USA

Parizan is active in the financial sector. Currently Principal at Capital Trends International Ltd, was Vice President at Fortress Investment Group, at Ramius Capital Group and before that was Associate at Morgan Stanley.

Parizan graduated from Berkeley, California.

 

Hossein Meyer-Troeltsch - United Kingdom

Hossein is a student-researcher. He studied first Business and International Finance but then changed to Economics International Law and International Politics. Hossein’s particular sphere of interest is governance and international relations, leadership and spiritual intelligence as a top down approach for the development of corporate social responsibility as well as integrating it with the Baha´i model of sustainable and continuously interconnecting  societies for progress. In the future he is planning to leave research field and contribute to the development of ethical and moral leadership as well as better business practice.

 

Meera Arumugam - Cambridge, United Kingdom

Meera is conducting a post-doctoral research in the field of bone and cartilage tissue engineering. She received her first degree at Imperial College in London. The PH-degree Meera did in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering at University of Cambridge.

Meera founded an initiative called the Cambridge Initiative for Musculoskeletal Tissue Engineering with 2 colleagues in 2008 which is a cross-disciplinary academic-clinical group with the aim to facilitate discussion between basic scientists (Bone biologists and stem cell biologists), clinicians and commercial entities. Meera would like to find new, more effective ways of dealing with different personalities across the cross-disciplines she is working with.

 

Anne Wong - Nottingham, United Kingdom

Anne is currently working as a Diversity Trainer for Nottinghamshire Police. Anne is interested in the application of moral and spiritual principles at her workplace. One of the issues she takes to EBBF is a common one, how to reconcile the different cultural andf behavioural backgrounds of the diverse people working in her police area and then being able to create a unity of intention and of values.

 

Anupam Premanand - Nivelles, Belgium

Anupam works in a secondary school as a Teacher of English, Social Studies and History. He would like to promote collaboration of EBBF and Universal Human Values Program and Peace Education program which is conducted between Belgium and India.

Anupam did his Master degree in English Literature, and in Education doe Development and Value Education. He has a special interest in singing and in the application of music and songs to spiritual/moral education.

 

Alexandar Pavlov - Sofia, Bulgaria

Alexander is a public notary. He is working in this capacity since 1998. Before he used to work as a lawyer. Alexandar finished his law studies at the Sofia  University St.Climent Ohridski.

One of the issues of interest is the lack of moral and ethics in the domain of law. Alexandar would like to promote research on ethics in notary work in his country.

 

Bruno Monfils - Arbonne la foret, France

Bruno graduated from Haute Ecole de Commerce in 2002 and is working as a Management Consultant. Bruno is particularly interested in innovation and socially-responsible entrepreneurship.

 

Alexandre Cabon - Brest, France

Alexandre is an Engineer in Telecommunication Telecom Sud- Paris. He is also a President of AIESEC France 2009-2010 so he will be leading this NGO at the national level for the coming year.

With this regard Alexandre would like EBBF to help him learn how to lead the international team based on his personal values. One of the issues that interest Alexandre is how to create trust and unity within different cities around France where AIESEC have its leadership teams. Alexandre sees his mission in promoting ethical values, personal virtues, and moral leadership in business as well as in organizations of social change.

 

Ina Bialova - Fribourg, Switzerland

Ina is a part of EBBF inters team. She is currently a student of Economics at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. She used to study International Economic Relations in Belarus as well as Finance in the USA. 


Ina is looking forward to seeing the new financial system being emerged and she would like to make some contribution so that the new financial system was based on the spiritual values and principles.
