Each year, during the EBBF Annual General Meeting, every member of EBBF is eligible to vote and be voted onto the Governing Board of EBBF.

Arthur Dahl (Switzerland/France/USA)
Arthur Dahl brings to the governing board more than 40 years international experience in environment and sustainability. He holds a PhD in Marine Biology from the University of California.
His career as a research scientist on complex ecological systems and organizing intergovernmental programmes on environment in various parts of the world led to responsibilities in the secretariat for the Rio Earth Summit (1992) drafting Agenda 21, as Coordinator of the UN System-wide Earthwatch, and as a Deputy Assistant Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme. He is presently President of the International Environment Forum (a partner organization for EBBF), and on the Board of Directors of the Global Islands Network. He is a leading expert on indicators of sustainability, islands and coral reefs, and has collaborated on projects with the World Economic Forum and other international organizations, and is the author of many publications and books including "The Eco Principle: Ecology and Economics in Symbiosis". He is presently coordinator of the UNEP/University of Geneva Environmental Diplomacy Programme and also teaches and lectures widely on sustainable development.
Marieke Kersten (Netherlands)
Marieke has created with her working partner a start up enterprise dedicated to empowering youth entrepreneurs. In just two years she tripled her organization's size.
Providing their clients with a fresh outlook on existing processes and strategies; organizing events; performing research; helping clients to get a job done in time.
She further specializes in providing assistance in the field of organizational change and development, marketing, management and communication.
She has written a paper on spirituality in business and is interested in coaching training methods relating to values and Spirituality. She was a Student of Persian and Management.
Mika Korhonen (Finland)
Mika Korhonen, 36, is an experienced software product development professional with over a dozen years experience of product development and telecom scene in Finland and abroad.
He has worked over 8 years for telecom giant Nokia in Finland and India, for a telecom billing service business as Director of R&D, and as a product program manager in electronic device development start-up. Most recently he took a positon as Project Manager in a smartphone division of a software house SYSOPENDIGIA in Finland. In his field he is specialized in agile project management methods which combine perfectly holistic approach and performance.
Mika has been studying leadership in Helsinki University of Technology focusing coaching kind of leadership: putting together best sports coaching practices, latest business leadership views and the Baha'i perspective. His genuine interest towards ethics in business, values-based leadership, collaborative decision-making and fostering creativity and innovation has so far resulted in several talks and workshops he has given to different audiences in Finland.
His interest towards application of values and ethics in everyday work and finding purpose beyond profit brought him into EBBF 2004. Mika was nominated onto the EBBF board in September of 2007 and is currently an elected board member. He has also been the EBBF National Representative for Finland since 2006.
Mika has also several years of experience in organizing events in voluntary-based not-for-profit environment, and serves currently as a member of EBBF events organizing team.
Wendi Momen (UK)
Wendi Momen, a founder member of EBBF, is a social activist involved in a number of organisations with a related purpose: the betterment of humanity.
Her main focus is on the advancement of women and their participation in decision-making at all levels, on sustainable living and on social justice.
She is the chairman of the EBBF, secretary of the UN National Committee for UNIFEM, a Trustee of the Multi-Faith Centre at the University of Derby, chair of the Bedford Council of Faiths, a Non-Executive Director of the Bedfordshire Primary Care Trust and an elected Councillor of Northill Parish Council.
She has been a magistrate in the criminal court since 1982 and a court chairman since 1994. She has been a court chairman to the family panel since 1991. She was vice chairman of the North and Mid-Bedfordshire Bench.
She is Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA), a member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House), a member of Soroptimist International (SI Bedford) and an individual member of the National Council of Women.
She holds a BSc in Economics and a Ph.D. in International Relations, both from the London School of Economics.
She was a director and trustee of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of the United Kingdom from 1982 to 2005 and is immediatre past chair of the One World Trust.
Mahmud Samandari (Switzerland)
Mahmud has held the following positions:

. CEO of GLOBATEL, a satellite interactive distance learning service provider and software development company for mobile solutions

. Founder and Chairman of Micronet, a public/private mixed company, operating a network of Service Centers for Micro entrepreneurs

George Starcher (USA/France)
The Founder
Co-founder and President of EBBF. Graduate of Yale University and Harvard Business School, he was a Director and Senior Partner at McKinsey & Co., international management consultants, in Paris and Milan. Subsequently he created his own consulting enterprise.
George is a frequent speaker and author of a number of publications on such topics as CSR, business ethics, entrepreneurship, socially responsible enterprise and a new paradigm of work.
He is and has been member of the Board of Directors of the European Centre for Continuing Education (CEDEP) since 1972.
Daniel Truran (UK/Italy/Spain)
EBBF - Director General
Daniel is passionate about connecting individuals to their integrity, creativity and ethics. Inspiring them into action by linking them to other like-minded doers and to their ideas. He believes and wants to demonstrate through innovative enterprises how ethical behaviours in business are directly linked to success. Promoting the evolution towards a world that will be organised, act and behave as one country. Where the creativity of the diversity of its citizens will enhance the wellbeing and prosperity of humankind.
Following a career as Logistics and Marketing director at Exel plc. working in London, Sydney, Johannesburg and Milan, he is currently Secretary General of the European Baha’i Business Forum (www.ebbf.org), board member of Spirit in Business (www.spiritinbusiness.org), Vice President of Humanica Social Ventures, a Director of Via3 (www.via3.net), Board of Trustees member of the Association for Spirit at Work (www.spiritatwork.org).
