Samareh Lajaunias Azeredo da Silveira – Lausanne, Switzerland

Am currently completing a PhD thesis in neuroscience on Parkinson’s disease at the Federal Polytechnical School of Lausanne (EPFL). Have obtained a MS degree in immunology from the University of Geneva and has published a number of articles in peer-reviewed journals. I co-founded LASCCO SA in February of 2007 a company active in the pharma/biotech sector with strong expertise and network in immunology, HIV/AIDS and neurosciences, and based in Geneva. In 2000, Samareh Lajaunias Azeredo da Silveira obtained the “Certificat de fin d’études terminales de piano" (final piano exam of the Conservatory of Music) passed with highest honors and congratulations of the jury.

Ralph Blundell – London & France

London born, I now live in France and have an office in the UK. I am married and have two children.

My background is in public services and the not for profit sector. My last public service role was in the North of England heading social services. Since January 2000 I have been leading and developing my own business. I lead a consultancy specialising in Leadership development and organisational change. We are not sector specific, and at the time of writing we are active in financial services and banking, professional services, energy, technology and computing, media, and consumer pharma.

Being trusted to support and challenge senior leaders is a significant responsibility, and I spend as much time on my self-development, and reflection, as I do working.

When I not working I love to be with my family. I play music, grow food and flowers, strive to learn the French language (and culture) and travel.

My Burning Issue: Moral, ethical, sustainable Leadership of our corporations and peoples, that allows prosperity for all through developing a new economic model.

Frédéric Lajaunias – Lausanne, Switzerland

I hold a PhD in biology specialized in immunology from the University of Paris VII and carried out a post-doctoral work at the Geneva University Hospital in the Division of Clinical Immunology studying the mechanisms responsible for the deregulation of the immune system leading to autoimmune disorders, such as Rheumatoid Arthritis or SLE. Such research work has led to the publication of several articles in peer-reviewed journals. I also hold an MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship from the University of Geneva. I gained experience relevant to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries at Abbott Laboratories - Switzerland - as manager responsible for the HIV/AIDS division. In 2007, I then founded LASCCO S.A., based in Geneva.

Samareh Milone – Milan, Italy

I'm studying Engineering Management and I am at the second year of specialization.

I think EBBF it's a fantastic "instrument" to support young people to face up to business world in the right way which means trying to contribute to the wellness of the corporate and of society.

I recently took the opportunity of joining EBBF to offer an EBBF powerpoint presentation at my university promoting its values and principles among students and my future colleagues. I'm a member of the Bahà'ì Community in Milan.

Jim Desson – Kanata, Canada

I am the previous owner of Nine Pines Publishing, and am now the owner of Red Oak Media.

I am a Retired teacher and Baha'i writer and publisher, member of the Association for Baha’i Studies for many years.

Regine Morand – Paris, France

I am a councellor. I studied work's psychology in Paris. I use to give training to adults.

I currently work on a free-lance basis.

Burning Issue: I am looking for any ideas or people concerned by spirituality and business.

Contribution: I want to meet people in order to find different ways to make relationships easier, more justice in firms and leadership more human. My main area of interest is Values Based Leadership.
