www.ebbf.orgINSPIREissue 17Opportunities for Action

We believe that the best way to benefit from EBBF is to find ways to get involved and to make a difference in your own work environment being helped and supported by this worldwide network of like-minded individuals.

Have a look at a few of EBBF's current projects on the main webpage: ebbf.org/projects.html

AIESEC ( aiesec.net ) will be using a new virtual system for communication from January 2008 called EnterCEE:

they are looking for EBBF entrepreneurs to share their experiences and answer questions on particular sub topics within the general sphere of entrepreneurship: Women Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurship, Responsible Entrepreneurship and so on.

First an ‘input paper’ on the topic would be released on aiesec.net with an introduction to the EBBF member with a brief on their past experiences and then they would call the forum open.

The aiesec.net interface has the possibility to post messages on a thread - so that one can have a virtual discussion on a particular topic on a ‘forum’ and ask questions related to the subtopic, so CEE participants can post their views and questions on the topic and a member from EBBF answers them.

Are you interested to offer your own views and replies to a specific entrepreneurship related topic? Literally thousands of AIESEC members would be your audience so if you want to take part please send an email right away to:

Annemie Vanormelingen writes an SOS to EBBF members and readers

At my workplace I am faced with a woman who has been victim of sexual inappropriate gestures. As this is not a first instance the issue needs to be addressed seriously. Although there is a theoretical complaints procedure in place, no educational program is set-up.

I have no decision making power but can influence the General Manager.

I would like to know if anybody in EBBF has been faced and with this challenge and how it was handled.

I would like to find simple educational materials that can be used to raise :

1. awareness amongst the workfloor managers

2. amongst workers.

The company is an industrial services company with very low educational level workers (Entreprise de Travail Adapté - atelier Protégé.) hence the need for simple , graphic educational material.

Many thanks for any suggestions - Annemie Vanormelingen
